Roche Bobois, the brand ambassador for the best French furniture and design in the world, has promoted Meets the Spanish Fashion, an initiative to reflect the talent and creativity of Spanish designers, further strengthening its relationship with the world of fashion.

After the huge success achieved in Mexico or England with the collaboration of artists revisiting his legendary Mah Jong sofa, now is the time to Spain. This time the idea has been to use the creativity of ten big names in fashion in the country to be given a twist to the cabinet of the legendary French house.

Starting from a blank module of the iconic sofa, designers Agatha Ruiz De La Prada, Andres Sarda, Avellaneda, Custo Barcelona, Devotee and Lomba, Ion Fiz, Juana Martin Purificacion Garcia, Rossy De Palma and Xevi Fernández have produced a unique pieces that will be auctioned online by the auction house Wardhouse and whose proceeds will be entirely donated to OAfrica, the NGO founded by the charismatic Lisa Lovatt-Smith, who left his life as editor of Vogue to move to Africa and devote himself fully to his project to take care  of children in Ghana.

All the pieces will be exhibited for the first time on 080 Barcelona Fashion to then form part of a traveling exhibition in stores Roche Bobois from different Spanish cities from July to October 2016 in order to encourage participation in the auction.
During autumn, the sofas will be awarded to the winners of the auction at an event in Madrid.
