Tuesday, 16 January

Mans Concept Menswear, Ester Ferrando Knitwear, Jinksieminks, Verbena Atelier and Agnès Sunyer are the newcomers of the 080 Barcelona Fashion 21st edition that kicks off on January 29th. As usual, the organization welcomes emerging designers that reinvigorate the calendar of the Catalan Fashion Week.
.

Mans Concept Menswear will be the first to make his debut on the runway on Tuesday. This is the project of designer Jaime Álvarez, from Seville and based in Barcelona, who will present his menswear ready to wear collection “Make America great again”. He will show his vision of men’s fashion in which he mixes tradicional Japanese tailoring with young subcultures and innovation through technological fabrics, a key of his work.
.

Verbena Atelier will follow on Thursday. It’s the brand of designer and stylist Josué Quesad, who gets his inspiration from street-style for his autumn-winter 2018-19 collection “Mambo” for men and women. Folklore and romanticism are the two main motifs behind this collection characterised by the game of volumes and a color palette based on primary colors and sparkly metallic fabrics.
.

On the same day, the Catalan runway will welcome Jinksieminks, urban fashion brand for men and women that masters the design of prints. “Prospect Oark” is the collection to be shown on the 080 Barcelona Fashion catwalk to make us travel to this beautiful park in Brooklyn, New York, whose serenity inspires a sophisticated collection with a sporty touch.

On Friday, the last day of shows, Ester Ferrando Knitwear will present “Labyrinth”, which shows her use of knit, the main fabric of the collection. It’s a line inspired by the Viking’s aesthetics and the Celtic culture, in earthy tones and blue.

Agnès Sunyer closes the group of newcomers of the 21st edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion. This image coach turned designer will present “Contrasts”, a womenswear collection in a urban style, versatile for the women of today.
