Lebor Gabala is the professional endeavor of Maite Muñoz, who learned the trade from pioneers of the fashion industry in this country such as Pedro Morago, Rap Diffusion, or Mila and Tucho Balado. A lovely sounding name was her first statement. It is the translation of Leabhar Ghabhála Erenn, a set of Gaelic manuscripts of the eleventh century which recount the founding of Ireland. The fantasy of the stories and the fact that Ireland is so closely tied to the wool tradition, made her decide to adopt the phonetic title, which is pronounced Lebor Gabala in Spanish. Lebor Gabala chooses the finest materials in search of the highest quality.

Merging sports and the city defines Lebor Gabala’s 2019 fall-winter collection. The new street sports offer garments that straddle one world and another through hybrid style codes. Technological materials, silk, cashmere and flannels are included in the collection and encompass the same look, giving rise to endless interpretations. Dots play an essential role: multiple gauges and colour ranges for sweaters and cardigans, as well as jacquards in wraparound coats. The flowers on silk satin provide the dresses and long skirts with a feminine touch, which is combined with soft and warm plush. Printed taffeta for technical garments and houndstooth for suits. A collection full of colours and materials that brings together tradition, modernity and comfort.
