Cristiana Schieppati

Cristiana Schieppati has the passion for journalism in her DNA as her mother was one of the main writers at Il Corriere Della Sera. After the launch of the online mag www.crisalidepress.it in ’97, she took care of the daily news regarding fashion, beauty design and all the special issues featuring the fashion shows.

She then launched a totally new editorial project: the CHI E’ CHI DEL GIORNALISMO E DELLA MODA, a proper book with a specific overview on every single figure in the fashion field, both international and national, of which she is the Director. She also established, as a fixed appointment since the 2001, the CHI E’ CHI AWARDS, an annual event to open the September Fashion Weeks, where the most relevant figure of the year are honoured.

 

Patrick Clarke

Schön! – Fashion Editor

Harking from a background in academia, Patrick Clark researched Italian Fashion at Cambridge University and University of London before going on to work as a stylist and editor. He is now fashion editor at Schön! Magazine, and shares his time consulting, working as a journalist and stylist for various companies in the luxury and fashion sectors.

 

Robbie Sinclair

Womenswear Editor – WGSN

With a background in design for apparel & accessories, Robbie Sinclair started his career designing for UK High Street brands including Warehouse and global E-tailer ASOS.

While working at ASOS he developed a strong interest in trend forecasting which led him to move to US trend forecasting company Stylesight. He now works at WGSN as womenswear editor and is based between London and Barcelona developing seasonal trends, key items and developing key silhouettes for future seasons. 

 

Montse Serra Torrent

Born and raised in a family with a long tradition in the textile industry in Mataro, Barcelona, she has a diploma in Pattern Design and Construction from the Felicidad Duce International Institute, a degree in Applied Art (Figurines) from Llotja Advanced School of Arts and Design and a Psychology degree from UOC.

She has been professionally involved as a fashion designer for more than twenty years, working in small and medium sized companies as part of the design team, and has been involved in education since 2007. She has been the coordinator of Higher Education Studies in Fashion Design at ESDAP Higher School of Design and Arts since 2015.

 

Carlos del Barrio

Carlos del Barrio was born in Zaragoza. His interest in fashion began in his youth, when he was collaborating with the most innovative boutiques in the city. While Spain was in the middle of its political transition during the 80’s, he decided to open his own shop in the city centre: "La Piscina", which become a fashion reference.

In the 90's he started a commercial network in Barcelona with young designers creating "La Comercial" showroom. During this time he didn’t leave the retail world and he started collaborating with the "Fantasy Shop" boutique, located in a famous gallery in the city. With his experience in fashion he gave the store a much needed revamp which made it an icon in Barcelona.

At the beginning of the year 2000, he started his own trip to open his own boutique. The Born was the best are to open "La Comercial Woman", a boutique that offers a careful selection of apparel, accessories, footwear and one of his passions: perfume.

From 2001 until today the project hasn’t stop grwoing, opening up 6 stores in the Born and one in the W hotel.
