Beatriu Malaret

Teacher and independent consultant specializing in communication and design. Beatriu Malaret has a degree in Romance Philology (UB) and a masters degree in Social Communication (UPF). She has spent the entirety of her career focusing on creativity and design.

Following a beginning dedicated to contemporary art, she gave classes at the Sabadell college of Design (ESDI), and has worked on projects concerning the management and innovation of design for and within Fira Barcelona.
Currently, on behalf of Cipsela (a company of which she is cofounder) she manages the department of Strategy and Communication. She is highly specialized in the development of educational programmes based on high quality performance, the education of competitive emergent talent and entrepreneurship; equally for Design schools as for businesses and cooperative associations.
Amongst other projects, she is now the academic director of the fashion design masters program and co-director of the masters program for design and art curation at ELISAVA design school; she is also in charge of the Ecodesign and Sustainability in Textiles and Fashion course, in association with the Textile and Fashion of Catalonia Cluster and AITEX (Textile Industry Research Association) .


Giampietro Baudo

Giampietro Baudo was born in 1976 and is the editor in chief of MFFashion, the only daily newspaper in Europe that is entirely dedicated to the world of fashion and luxury goods, published by Class editori. He became eic of the newspaper at the beginning of 2007, while also taking on the management of MFF-Magazine For Fashion and MFL-Magazine For Living, the two magazines dedicated to the fashion system and the world of design. He began his career in Class editori, which he joined in 1997 covering posts such as editor of MFFashion and its annexes, while he has also been the managing editor of L'Uomo Vogue, Vogue Sport and Vogue Tessuti.

Since 2012, he is also curator of Eccellenza Italia, the first multimedia communication system conceived by Class Editori, in partnership with Xinhua News Agency, to offer to Chinese tourists who arrive in Italy a precise and accurate guide to excellence in fashion, luxury, in design, food & wine and hospitality (in 2014 Eccellenza Italia launched also a Russian version with the same concept). In 2014 he became also fashion and creative director of LADIES, the haut de gamme fashion magazine of Class editori, working closely with photographers like Manuela Pavesi, Juergen Teller, Alan Gelati, Danielle Levitt or Nan Goldin.

Jeannete Nkwate

Jeanette Nkwate has spent more than four years as a trend expert. Trained at London College of Fashion as a fashion journalist, her previous experience includes working on the fashion teams for consumer publications, as well as contributing to the WGSN-Homebuildlife team specialising in interiors retail.

Jeanette currently works as Associate Events Editor at WGSN, assisting in the management and coverage of the world leading trend forecaster’s 150 + a year global events, using her commercial perspective to analyse how the most important trends will impact the retail market.
