TOTON was born in the seaside town of Arenys de Mar near to Barcelona in the 60s. As a girl Totón Comella was already familiar with the family business in textiles. By the age of ten, Totón Comella could quickly draw any design, pattern or shape that came into her head.


1984: A chance meeting meant that Totón Comella returned to the world of fashion. The designer creates a revolutionary bathroom collection with her opting for a new material, lycra-cotton, until then unheard of.


1985: The elements defining her first bathroom collections, simplicity and comfort, still continue today in her items. The formula for comfort is efficient: quality fabrics and simple but novel forms.


1991: Totón Comella, under the TCN brand, manages to get for swimwear to have its own category in the shows at the Salón Gaudí in Barcelona, unveiling an annual collection.


1995: Having the keys to success in the shape of simplicity and comfort, Totón Comella delves into the intimate lines for women’s fashion, with one each for corsetry, lingerie and home-wear, banking on an overall natural, glamorous and sensual look.


2000: This year showed her first summer and winter street wear collections labelled  TCN-bis, her first in prêt-à-porter.


2001: The opening in Barcelona of her first flagship store TCN at number 12 Mestre Nicolau St. The store is all of a challenge, apart from 200 meters of shop space a showroom of more than 300 meters is revamped.


2002: Opening of her second TCN store in Gerona, in one of the streets in the center, more than 150 meters dedicated exclusively to TCN collections.


2004: First outlet store at La Roca Village close to Barcelona opens. Plans are made for how to consolidate internationally, while new stores are opened in big cities throughout Spain and Portugal.


2006: The launch of MINI TCN marked the big news for the brand this year, the success so stunning that new lines for the next seasons were already foreseen.


2008: For the first time TCN shows at the MADRID FASHION WEEK kicking off events on the Cibeles catwalk with their new Autumn-Winter 2009-10 collection.


2009: TCN receives the BARCELONA IS FASHION PRIZE this year for their overall business development.


2011: November is the month chosen to launch the basic corsetry and lingerie lines ALMA.


2012: TCN becomes a total look company, with garments for women for all times of day.


2013: TCN opens new markets.
