Sant Pau Hospital, the space where the fashion parades have been hosted lately, inspires the new collection. A hospital is a neutral space filled with intensity. A place where life and death coexist, a place of transgression, of birth, of suffering. A building where the afflicted and physicians, pain and hope, death and healing mix. The coldness of space is represented in sterile white, suffering in red, hope in green, healing in blue and death black. Cottons represent the purity of nurses who take care of the patients, and the doctors, the heroes who save, in the hospital narrative. Hospitals, especially really old ones, are strongly suggestive mystical spaces...where souls in pain can be intuited. If there were spirits, hospitals would be where a great many would be found.
