THE 080 BARCELONA FASHION OPEN AREA, MORE ENGAGING THAN EVER

With the aim to open the fashion world (and the doors of the magnificent Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site to the general public, the 080 Barcelona Fashion sets once again the Open Area, the free access zone of the event. To get there it’s only required to ask for the invitation through this website.

One of the main novelties of this summer edition, is that the 080 Fashion Market is back, with near 30 pop-up stores of fashion and accessories. Designers that will take part in the catwalk schedule of fashion shows, like Brain&Beast, Krizia Robustella and Oscarleon, will also be present here to sale their collections firsthand to the public. They will participate along a selection of brands and designers that includes: Alèxia Gustran, Bohemian Rapsody, Elianne Alcantara Studio, GemmaLopez Barcelona, Grey Sunglasses Laura Vita, MB2, Natasha Kartelian, Opuline, Organic Cotton Colours, Roser Martinez Joieria Creativa, Tarantana, Te para Tres, Th3 Warriors, UVVe, VSD Barcelona Jewels and What a Mesh.

Alongside the commercial fashion, the Open Area will also be home to the most daring and bold design. This 22nd edition will host an exhibition with the best final collections of the students of these nine fashion schools: Escola Superior de Disseny ESDi (Kevin Dumont); escola de la Dona (Júlia Pallaraols); Escola Superior de Disseny de Moda LCI Barcelona (Carlos Calvo); Idep Barcelona-Escola Superior d’Imatge i Disseny (Ana Carrión), ICM Institut Català de la Moda; IED Barcelona Escola Superior de Disseny (Brenda Melina Gonzalez Zuniga i Najjat Guerra Campuzano); LLOTJA Escola Superior de Disseny i Art; BAU Centre Universitari de Disseny de Barcelona (Ismael P. Ríos i Cristina Moro) and ILLA Escola d’Art i Disseny (Michelle Acosta i Marta Miñan).

Moreover, the Open Area will also include the usual village 080 with the sponsors’ stands. In this 22nd edition we find Redken, NYX Professional Makeup, Hyundai, Mistinguett, Movistar and La Roca Village as sponsors; and Seagram’s, Sunbites, Red Bull, Fujifilm, Barcelona Beer Company, Siovann, CND Beauty, Rowenta, BCN Brand and Raffel Pagès as collaborator brands.

The attendees will also enjoy a gastronomic offer with delicatessen stands as well as leisure initiatives while they don’t miss any detail of the fashion shows through TVs on display throughout the Open Area, which will be located in the gardens of the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site.
