True to its openness and will to bring fashion to the citizens, the 080 Barcelona Fashion presents, once more, an area open to the general public by the name of Open Area. This zone, to which anyone can access prior getting the invitation through this website, will be one of the attractions of the Catalan catwalk as it presents a wide variety of initiatives ranging from the sponsors’ stands to the 080 TV Channel set, as well as the 080 Fashion Market which will gather around twenty local fashion and accessories’ brands.

Other proposals will be the Neo2 Photoshoot Exhibition which, once again, will showcase the photography projects of last edition’s participants, who combined some looks by a selection of 080 Barcelona Fashion designers like BRAIN&BEAST, Celia Vela, ISOMETRIC, OSCARLEON, RITA ROW and Who.

Moreover, the public’s attention will also be drawn to the youngest talents of the Catalan scene as the students of the 9 fashion design schools will show here their final projects. It will be a great opportunity to admire the innovative designs from Escola Superior de Disseny ESDi, Escola de la Dona, Felicidad Duce, L'Escola Superior de Disseny de Moda de LCI Barcelona, IDEP Barcelona, Escola Superior d'Imatge i Disseny, ICM Institut Català de la Moda, IED Barcelona Escola Superior de Disseny, LLOTJA  Escola Superior de Disseny i Art, BAU Centre Universitari de Disseny de Barcelona, i ILLA Escola d'Art i Disseny, among which one will be able to pick the names of the future of fashion in Catalonia.

Finally, this Open Area will also be the setting for the “Pedro Rodriguez: Couture in the closet” exhibition, a tribute to the Spanish designer, contemporary of Balenciaga and a great name of the haute couture in Barcelona. This exhibition will showcase a selection of exquisite designs from the private collection of one of his best clients and muse, Carme Ensesa Brillas, with which one can travel back in time and remember the elegance and style of past decades.
