080 BARCELONA FASHION BEACH, SWIMWEAR NEXT TO THE SEA

The 080 Barcelona Fashion summer edition usually present the latest trends in swimwear through a variety of top brands. Since last year, they do it in a fitting setting in Barcelona’s waterfront, the ideal location to show the new swimsuits and bikinis. This summer 2019 the organization sets again the 080 Barcelona Fashion Beach catwalk and choosed the new Port Marina Vela, set in the north of Barcelona’s harbour, beside the Mediterranean sea.
 
A top-notch location where will see the new proposals by well-known brands as well as other newcomers that will make their debut in this 24th edition. The emblematic swimwear brand Guillermina Baeza will present “The past is not gone”, which will bring us back to the nineties through daring women, full of energy, dresses in swimsuits and bikinis in lurex and prints.
 
Como un Pez en el Agua will also be back at the 080 Barcelona Fashion Beach with “Chic to beach”, in which it transforms traditional swimwear in designs filled with elegance and sophistication through different textures, frills, prints, retro and a retro pin-up inspiration.
 
As for the newcomers, the 080 Barcelona Fashion Beach will welcome All Sisters, the project by Patricia Caballero of a sustainable brand founded in 2014 in Barcelona that offers exclusive swimwear designs for a fashion-conscious and active woman. Made of high-quality recycled fabrics, the swimsuits by All Sisters are both practical and attractive and have been sported by top models like Toni Garrn and Bar Refaeli.
 
All That She Loves will also make its debut. The line by Clara Esteve, trained in Idep Barcelona and with a long experience in TCN, is rooted in the Costa Brava and characterized by its local production which brings together technology and craftsmanship. Working with influencers like Alex Riviere to gain visibility among the general public, now it will take part in the runway to be better known among the professional audience.
 
Finally, the seaside catwalk will also host the collection by Laura Vecino, a designer who first studied Architecture to then follow her fashion dream career in New York’s Parsons School of Design and, after, gaining experience in Mango. In recent years, she has focused her career on swimwear and know we will be able to discover her first collection 2019 at the 080. The Save The Date: On June 28th, last day of shows, when the action will move from the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site to the Port Marina Vela to close four days of fashion shows and many other activities.
