Starring brands of the last day

The Catalan brand Cóndor opened friday's morning session on the 080's catwalk. Inspired by the Mediterranean coast, the firm unveiled the collection 'The Cóndor Mediterranean', made of garments mainly in fresh colors which were especially designed in conjunction with 'Little Lia by Beth', of hand-made accessories.

For its part, the childrenswear brand Bóboli presented 'Kaleidoscope', a collection in which the intensity of color, the prints and the innovative treatment of the fabrics were once again the main attraction. Full of joyful, sophisticated and trendy colours, the garments were rich in embellishments.

The collections by BCN Brand, Naulover, Torras, Punto Blanco and Slazenger for spring/summer 2014 continued the 080 catwalk shows. The footwear BCN Brand unveiled 'Barcelona', with their well-known hand-dyed leather  sneakers for both men and women. Naulover presented 'Sea Punk', inspired by the colors of the sea, mixed with the purity of white and old-stressed denim and jeans. In 'The Authentic Me', the collection by Torras, short garments with materials of soft air stood out.

Punto Blanco opted for cultural interaction in their collection 'Culture Mix', garments made in top-quality raw materials. Slazenger drew once again their inspiration from the world of sport in 'Slazenger Heritage, Spring/Summer 2014', with items of soft, comfortable tones. Jumpers were the main pieces, made with materials which straddled the two seasons.

The 080 Barcelona Fashion event closed with a show from the brand Escorpion. Travelling involved physical, mental and emotional movement to the collection 'Meetings', which was inspired by the journeys through Brazil, Africa and the Mediterranean that women have made over the time.

The prestigious Elite Model Look 2013 competition rounded off the 12th edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashion. It is an annual meeting organised by the Elite Model Management agency in order to give the opportunity of entering the fashion world to young people who want to start a modelling career.
