As the closing of the 4th day of shows at 080 Barcelona Fashion, Brain & Beast has presented “Tranisitional Phenomena”, a collection inspired by the concept of the “transactional” object by English psychoanalyst Donald Winnicott with which the brands keeps showing its signature style.
.
This morning in the opening, in contrast, the shows by young designers Xavi Grados and Pau Esteve kicked-off the runway. Xavi Grados has been the first with his collection “Rall”, inspired by the Catalan coastline, where the fishermen towns are the main elements. Hence, the collection introduces looks for man and woman in natural fabrics and soft colors, in blue, toasted and sand hues which are mixed with white and the prints designed by artist Nuriatoll.

Pau Esteve, on his side, has presented “SWEAT”, an unexpected and daring proposal with designs that allow good dance mobility as a representation of freedom of expression. The absence of fabric in specific areas or slots between fabrics, allow designs to be insinuating, for people without complexes who want to express their freedom through movement and fashion.¡

Next one on the runway has been Antonio Miro, brand that makes a comeback after some years of absence on the catwalk. With the design direction by Albert Villagrasa, the brand has presented “Architecture of Color” for spring-summer 2017 aimed to men and women. It’s a fresh and bright collection with which the brand approaches a younger public while keeping the clean lines characteristic of Antonio Miro. Villagrasa plays with colors, structures, textures and hues, maximizing attention to small details, always aiming for the balance between modernity and tradition.

After Antonio Miro, it’s been the time for Torras and the collection “Cuba” to walk the runway. Inspired by the colors of the architecture of the Caribbean island, the proposal shows a landscape of eternal summer colors that were once alive but have now faded to show the passage of time nostalgically. We found clean lines, geometric shapes, symmetries and asymmetries and combinations of noble materials such as silk or linen with leather and knitwear and find a pure, essential, look at the past.
.
In the afternoon, the action on the runway has been kicked-off by Oscarleon, who has presented “Je l’aime à mourir” which marks a milestone for the designer because, in contrast to precedent collections, now the creator presents a more emotive woman, more serene and calmed, who wears black, white, grey and red in more relaxed silhouettes.

Garcia Madrid, the guest brand invited of this 18th edition concurring with its 10th anniversary, has been the next one on the runway. Inspired by the elegance on the street, the brand has shown contemporary looks with a fresh and arty feel for men.
.
Also this Thursday Naulover has presented their proposal for spring-summer 2017: “Color Field”, based on the abstraction of minimal art from the late sixties. Hence, the collection is formed by broad fields of smooth and solid color, interesting geometries, stripes, XXL intarsia and strong contrasts, endowing the collection with a playful and youthful spirit.
