One more year, The CraftRoom saloon, main exhibition and sale of Catalan handcrafted products, has gathered a varied display of genuine crafts from Catalan firms. In the third edition of this free-access showroom has joined 108 companies that produce fashion accessories, jewelry, homewear, gifts and decoration items, among others.

As well as offering a space for the direct sale of crafted products from different sectors and trades, this year’s event has added a calendar of diverse activities that have supplemented the commercial offer, such as demonstrations, exhibitions, the final project showing of the Arts and Design students (Excellent Future area), and audiovisual projections about Catalan and Italian (guest country of this edition) crafts.

The CraftRoom has also hosted the Business Market, in which companies from different sectors that work in specialised projects have been able to show the application of the crafts in their professional activities. This year, Kima Guitar, Cerabella, Pontdequerós, Orgues Blancafort and Tot Vidre Gibernau have taken part in the event.

This saloon is organized by the Catalan Government through the Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda (CCAM), and has become established in Barcelona as a great meeting point for artisans and public. Its third edition has taken place in the Born Cultural Centre during the weekend of the 12-13th of July.
