The Catalan brand Custo Barcelona has closen the third day of 080 Barcelona Fashion’s runways at Barcelona’s Maritime Museum with a preview of their collection for next autumn-winter 2015-16. On the catwalk, internationally-acclaimed top model Ricardo Rodriguez has been the guest of honor.
.
The day has begun with Georgina Vendrell’s collection, one of the most established names in menswear of this fashion event. In her autumn-winter 2015-16 collection called “DarkLight” she has shown conceptual and avant-garde designs in white, first, to continue afterwards towards grays and black as the main character. Futuristic pieces made in technological materials were presented alongside urban contemporary tailoring in a collection which updates the men’s wardrobe.
.

.
After her, it’s been the turn for Isometric’s debut, the brand born thanks to the union of designers Joan Ros Gallofré and Jessica Montes Benito. Entitled “Psique”, they have shown a journey to the mind with modern tailoring designs, with relaxed cuts in blazers and jackets. The color palette, elegant and discreet, moves from camel, navy blue, baby blue and bordeaux touches.
.
Krizia’s Robustella “Sickly Sweet Bears” collection has been the next one on the runway. The classical “sweet bears” of the children’s universe are the starting point for a series of oversize designs, made in neoprene and other texturized materials, which turn the kid’s images into the hip-hoper and urban world of the designer. Caps, chains, wristbands and trainers completed the looks both for men and women on the catwalk.
.

.
Another newcomer this morning has been Pagè, the brand of Gerard Angulo and Paulina Canales. “Frog me a kiss” is their collection for men and women next autumn-winter with the leit motiv of the frog as the key element of the collection. For her, asymmetric dresses, sheer fabrics, maxi skirts and body-con silhouettes; while for him, smoking go together with street-wear clothing.
.
Change of style with the next brand on the runway: Naulover. “Mademoiselle Zhivago” is their inspiration for next autumn-winter, a visual, sophisticated and feminine proposal defined by its geometrical lines, monochromatic tones and exotic prints.
.
Yerse has been in charge of closing the morning’s shows with their collection “The Beauty Surrounds” which takes the inspiration on woman’s beauty. Rich colors like earthy reds, mauve blues and jade greens add a colorful note to a winter collection based on natural fabrics and urban styles which suit the woman’s body.

.
In the afternoon, Manuel Bolaño has been the one to open the catwalk with his collection “Palomo Cojo”. Getting inspiration from the “eastern divas surrounded by stardust”, according to himself, he has shown a collection with rich and powerful colors in silver, gold, bronze, black, mustard, pink, blue, turquoise and brown. Natural fabrics like silk, cotton and wool are the main characters in simple and loose silhouettes characterized by their prints and color combinations.
.
The day has followed with Miquel Suay, who has presented his menswear collection “Ucronia”. A retrofuturist autumn-winter 2015-16 proposal defined by geometrical shapes and layerings.
.
Finally, Menchén Tomàs have shown “Passions”, their womenswear collection for next autumn-winter 2015-16, on the runway. Olga R. Menchén and Francesc Grau Tomàs have presented a complex and rich collection inspired by the artwork of videoartist Bill Viola with intense hues and sophisticated textures. Yellows, blues, greens and the classical black and white combination appear in personal designs made in luxury fabrics like velvet, wool and mohair.
