Custo Barcelona rounds off an intense third day

Custo Barcelona made its début in the Catalan catwalk with 'Before New York', an outstanding, graphic and full of contrasts collection that remains true to their creative concept. The fashion show offered by the international firm, created by the Dalmau brothers, ended the third day of the 080 Barcelona Fashion. Katarina Grey, Jan Iú Més for Punto Blanco, Who, Miriam Ponsa, Alexis Reyna, Zazo&Brull, Juan Pedro López and Shipper/Arques also showcased their collections for autumn/winter season 2013-14 today.

080 Barcelona Fashion Award tomorrow

The event comes to an end with the ceremony of La Roca Village 080 Barcelona Fashion Award. The prize for the best collection will be given tomorrow by the Catalan Minister of Business and Employment, Felip Puig, accompanied by the director of Commerce, Josep Maria Recasens, the manager of CCAAM, Miquel Rodríguez, the manager of La Roca Village, Elena Folguet, and the members of the international jury.

The international jury of this year's 080 Barcelona Fashion is made up of five people. The first of them is Juste de Nin, a Catalan draughtsman and designer. Raoul Keil, editor in chief for the magazine Schön! and creative manager for is the second member. The third is Glòria Casacuberta, president of the Association of Communication in Fashion (ACIM in Catalan) and PR for the company Gratacós. Ita Fàbregas, Senior PR&Communications Manager for La Roca Village will be sitting beside her. Finally, the fashion journalist from Milan Michaela Gattermanyer completes the jury.

During the prize-giving ceremony, the jury will also give the verdict about the 080 Design Contest. The initiative, that has been driven together with the fashion design schools of Catalonia, nourishes the 080 Barcelona Fashion with its own merchandising products. A piece to dress the neck will be awarded, chosen between all the proposals made by the pupils of the design schools. The winner work will be sold along the 080 Barcelona Fashion's next edition, in July 2013.


Last day of fashion shows and inauguration of the Barcelona Fashion Summit

The collections designed by Bóboli/Cóndor, Torras/Naulover/Slazenger, Javier Simorra, Escorpion, Aldomartins and Yerse for next Autumn/Winter 2013-2014 season will be shown tomorrow at the 080 Barcelona Fashion catwalk. Andrés Sarda, the renowned creator of lingerie, will also be paid tribute. This ceremony will put to an end the eleventh edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashion. MODAFAD supports the fashion show of Emerging Fashion Designers.


Further, the first edition of the Barcelona Fashion Summit will be inaugurated. The purpose of this meeting is to add content addressed to the business public in the context of all the activities around the fashion event. The congress, that will be celebrated annually from now on, is planned to be developed in talks and debates about the main topics of fashion business.
