Custo Barcelona's Catwalk. Collection "Beauty and the Beast". Autum-Winter 2013-2014

Custo Barcelona showcased at the New York Fashion Week the new collection for Autumn/Winter 2013-2014 inspired by 'The Beauty and the Beast'. After making their début at the 080 Barcelona Fashion, where a preview was shown, the Dalmau brothers exhibited in The Big Apple all designs for the new collection. After seventeen years taking part in the New York City-based catwalk, they have become regulars.

Custo Barcelona stick to their characteristic graphic patterns, which are printed or embossed on sophisticated textures and combined materials. In 'Beauty and the Beast', the colour palette is restrained, it draws from black and white to earth colours, shaded greens and burgundy touches. The idea of the collection is to create a fusion of a bionic look —feminine slim fit silhouettes inspired by athletics— and an ethnic and ornate one —voluminous, inspired by the hard northern winter.

In 2013, Custo Barcelona will continue to expand internationally through the USA and China. They are going to open the first shop in the latter country.
