The firm Desigual closed the second day of the 080 Barcelona Fashion offering a show that was stared by Irina Shayk, who modelled exclusively for this colouristic firm. The new autumn-winter 2014-15 collection, 'Why?', is the 'bravest and most thoughtful' proposal ever created by this brand.

Intense day for Catalan design

Brian & Beast, winners of the previous edition, opened the afternoon shows with their collection 'Romantik', VII part of the 'Décalogue' they have been presenting in past editions of the same event. Entirely consistent with their style and particular universe, designers Ángel Vilda, Verónica Raposo and César Olivar (Brain&Beast) presented their colourful collection in which moustard, white, indigo and red stood out. Stripes, both horizontal and vertical, and animal were also recurrent patterns in the collection. They showed deconstructed silhouettes for men and women, achieved by the superposition of pieces, asymmetries, frills, pleats, surprising openings and the use of full-bodied fabrics and materials like felt and boiled wool.

Sita Murt went on with the show presenting 'Pure'. The title summarized the essence of Murt's proposals for her return to the 080. The designer presented a simple but sophisticated and elegant collection, with delicate outfits in search of the purity of colours (mainly ecru, poinsettia red, prussian blue, ice grey and black, which were rarely combined) and shapes (with structured perfect finishes).

With their corresponding shows, Krizia Robustella and Selim de Somavilla opened the second morning of the 080 Barcelona Fashion, during which Natalie Capell and Manuel Bolaño also presented their autumn-winter 2014/15 collections.
