Desigual has closed the second day of the 080 Barcelona Fashion runway. The internationally well-known Catalan brand has presented a preview of their men proposals for autumn-winter 2015-16 in a show led by veteran top model and actor Tony Ward.
.
In the morning, the shows have begun with the children clothing line CND by Cóndor which has shown on the runway a chocolate-inspired collection. Browns, whites, pinks together with red ruby and metallic were the hues of this sweet universe.
.
Bóboli has been the next brand on the catwalk with their collection “Make a wish”, of urban style. Neutral colors like white and grey are mixed with bright touches in a kids’ line which is full of stars and dreams in a wide variety of fabrics.
.
The designer Txell Miras has been another name during the morning shows. The Catalan creator has presented “Angles”, a retrofuturist journey for womenwear which defends the simplicity of lines. Technical materials and luxury ones are colored in white, grey, Bordeaux and black.

Lebor Gabala
has been the next one on the 080 Barcelona Fashion catwalk. Her collection “Opposites attract” has undergone a hippy style with the psychedelic prints and 70’s silhouette but, being made of technological materials, was updated for the woman of the 21st century. A collection of contrasts which showed urban clothing made in rustic materials and finishing touches.
.
The swimwear and lingerie brand TCN has been in charge of closing the runways in the morning. For next autumn-winter 2015-16 they use silk as the collection’s main character for shirts and camisoles of great quality. Cashmere tricot has also been used in looks which combine warmth and sensuality.

In the afternoon, Miriam Ponsa has been the one to open the fashion shows. “Exile” is the name of her collection, inspired by those who had to leave in 1939, after the Spanish Civil War. Their pain and suffering has been translated, on the catwalk, to capes, oversixe silhouettes and exaggerated volumes made in fabrics like wool and techniques like tricot knit, the main character in the collection.
.
Josep Abril has been the next one on the runway with his collection “Ghosts” for next autumn-winter 2015-16. It’s a homage to those people, almost invisible, who work in the ateliers. With the live music of Raül Fernández “Refree”’s guitar, Abril has presented a collection true to his style, with a man dressed in grays, black and dark blue.

Sita Murt
has been the last name of afternoon shows, prior to Desigual. The Catalan brand has opened the show remembering its founder and creative mind who recently passed away with one of her quotes leading the show “Don’t tell me it’s impossible. Things must be tried”. With the name “Oxford Vibes”, the collection presented a woman inspired by British style; which means masculine looks but without losing the feminine touch. Icon of the brand’s style, the knits continue to be the main character in coats, sweaters, trousers and delicate dresses. Although there have also been structured designs opposite to more sheer gowns.
