Desigual has closed the second day of shows at the 080 Barcelona Fashion Runway. The Catalan company of international projection has presented a preview of their womanwear collection for Spring-Summer 2016.
.
The day has started earlier with Isometric, last edition winners of the National Award to Emerging Talent. On this occasion, Joan Ros and Jessica Montes have shown “Poincaré”, which continues the conceptual line with which they debuted six months ago although in this case their work is based on the universe topography and the relation between forms, spaces and surfaces. As a result they present a masculine collection where they contrast classical sartorial fabrics with technical ones, digital prints with hand-made embroideries, and with white as the base color with touches of black, deep red and grey.
.

.
Blame Label, the project of Pablo Puig, has been the next one on the runway with his debut collection “Aureari”. With three main colors, white, black and violet and a conceptual style with futuristic echoes, Puig has shown long shirts and to the knee baggy trousers as two key elements for next Spring-Summer 2016.
.
Afterwards, Lebor Gabala has shown “Urban chic” for a boho-chic woman. Comfortable and feminine designs in light materials which adapt to the woman’s body and in suave colors like ecru and pastels have walked the runway.
.

.
In an opposite style, Txell Miras has taken the helm on the runway. The Catalan designer is inspired this time by the military look to design “Disarm”, a collection which takes out of place martial elements to present them in an innovative way. The exaggerated volumes and the neutral color palette with grey, white, black, khaki and navy, define her new proposal.
.
TCN has been the last designer to show their proposal in the morning. Mixing the sporty look with the elegance with a certain retro feel typical of the brand they have shown bikinis with frills, bandeau tops and halter necks as well as sheer day designs.
.

.
Already in the afternoon Miriam Ponsa has been the first one on the runway with “Poor Art” (Arte Povera), a collection based on the eponymous art movement from the sixties which vindicated the use of poor materials for the artistic creation with the aim of reflecting on the object and the form. Translated into the world of fashion, Ponsa invites us to rethink about the model of consumption and the essence of the matter through hand-made pieces in natural materials and avant-garde tailoring techniques.
.
Another familiar name of the Catalan scene, Josep Abril has followed. He has presented “Between the lines”, a collection true to his style where he insists on the use of neutral hues and natural fabrics for masculine designs with unexpected twists.
.
Before getting to Desigual, Sita Murt has presented her proposal for dressing the woman next spring-summer 2016. It’s a collection defined by the dialogue between sheer and delicate materials and others with texture and the very feminine silhouettes with a seventies and contemporary vibe.
