The Catalan-born fashion brand Aldomartins, regular on the 080 Barcelona Fashion runway and which will be present at the upcoming 17th edition at Casa Llotja de Mar, finished 2015 achieving great results. With 9.2 millions of annual turnover, it means a rise of 20% compared to the prior year, which confirms the steady and firm growth of this company founded in 1977 in Igualada (Barcelona). One of the reasons of this positive evolution is the great acceptance of their fashion line among foreign markets as they export 75% of their annual production to countries like the United States, France, United Kingdom and Germany.

A great performance for this family-run company which now is leaded by the second generation that started producing knitwear and now presents a full womenswear collection, all produced in Catalonia. To produce locally is one of the keys of their success as it allows them to adapt to the different markets’ needs avoiding unnecessary stock. The latter results in an organic growth which, this 2016, will focus the attention on Asia, where they want to increase their exports. Besides their design and local production, another key for their expansion is the participation in fashion events such as the 080 Barcelona Fashion or the Who’s Next international fair in Paris, in which they will take part this weekend.
