Light is the source of inspiration for the next spring/summer 2013 collection by Montse Liarte, presented in the legendary shop Gratacós, located on Passeig de Gràcia Street in Barcelona. The designer focuses on the electromagnetic side of this natural element to create a total of 15 outfits that radiate strength and vitality. “Through light you know everything that surrounds you. It is the element that wraps your body, like clothes”, Liarte said when she explained the creative concept of the new summer proposal.

The collection 'Light' is made with fabrics from Gratacós, mainly in cotton. In relation to the chromatic palette, white stands out, as it is the ultimate expression of light, and it is combined with vibrant fluorescent pink. Some pieces in iridescent tones and Swarovski crystal details, which add an extra energetic touch to an already bright collection, can also be appreciated in this line. Dresses with v-shape backs and multi-layered skirts must be highlighted. In the event, Montse Liarte also counted on the collaboration of the firm Serena Whitehaven, created by the designer Belén Ortiz, who provided all the footwear for the models in 'Light'.

In short, Montse Liarte presented a vital and romantic collection that fuses science and fashion.
