In its aim to showcase the best fashion, each edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion introduces new names, both emerging designers and established companies. In this 18th edition the runway will show the collections of seven new brands that will present their vision for spring-summer 2017 along with iconic names of 080 Barcelona Fashion such as Celia Vela, Txell Miras and Josep Abril. Antonio Miró will make a major comeback as it’s a Catalan brand with 35 years in the market both in womenswear and menswear, now with Albert Vilagrasa as head of design. Eline van Ree is much younger, as this Belgian based in Barcelona presented her first collection last year and now she will debut on the Catalan runway on Friday 1st of July.
García Madrid is another novelty of this summer edition. And afterwards, it will be the turn of Lola Casademunt, a family-run business founded in 1981. Red Point is another family business that will make its debut on the 080 Barcelona Fashion catwalk on July 1st to present their swimwear collection for next summer.
In a different style, there’s Samuel Alarcón, who will debut on Wednesday 29th of June.
