The Salón Internacional Profesional Noviaespaña follows Pasarela Gaudí Novias and, this way, Barcelona becomes until next sunday the world's nerve centre of business and meetings in the bridal field. The Catalan Minister for Enterprise and Employment, Felip Puig, opened this morning a new edition of this leading event that joins the most prestigious firms in fashion for weddings, communions and parties.

Noviaespaña 2013 reached full occupancy during the 20th edition of the event, thanks to the meeting of 230 brands and more than 15.000 professionals in a 30.000m2 indoor area. Renowned firms such as  Barcarola, Carmy, Crisby´s, Marla, Miquel Suay, Venus, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Devota & Lomba, Francis Montesinos and Hannibal Laguna did not miss the event. It is estimated that these brands dress one out of ten brides in the world.

In this year's edition, the international attendance has been decisive, and it consolidates the salon as one of the most successful events in its field. Half of the attendees and 6 out of 10 professionals come from countries like Germany, Belgium, France, Holland, England, Italy, Lebanon, Portugal, South Korea, Poland, Turkey, Romania, Colombia, Mexico and Brazil.

The Noviaespaña 2013 salon will be open until next Sunday 5th of may, when the 23rd edition of the Barcelona Bridal Week will come to an end.
