The 22nd edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashion welcomed fashion in style by presenting the new trends for the upcoming spring-summer 2019 season. Now, we share our review of the trends seen on the 080 Barcelona Fashion catwalk for this summer 2018, which complete the ones for spring. One of the main trends are the sherbet hues, fresh and flattering with tanned skins, that we saw in the collections of such different brands and designers as Naulover, Ze García, Guillermina Baeza and Colmillo de Morsa.

Another important trend for this summer season looks into the sea and the sporty look. Net is on point, as shown in Krizia Robsutella’s colorful collection, as well as in the proposals of Elena Estaun, Custo Barcelona, Punto Blanco and Miriam Ponsa.

.
Minimalism is back this summer with simple designs that update the sober style of the nineties for the millennial audience. Amt, Oscarleon and Naulover are the main referents in the 080 Barcelona Fashion catwalk who adopt this trend in monocholor looks.

As for prints, Hawaian motifs are on vogue this summer 2018. At the 080 Barcelona Fashion runway we saw it both for men and women, through Wom&Now and Pablo Erroz. In fact, regarding menswear, Hawaian shirts are a big trend this season and ES Collection and Punto Blanco were other brands that introduced this key piece in their collections.

Continuing with menswear, another new trend for the most daring men are shorts. We are not talking now about bermudas, but really short shorts above the knees, to face the high temperatures in the best style.
.

.
ES Collection, Antonio Miro and Pablo Erroz dress the men in shorts, showing how versatile they can be, as they can be worn with a great classical leather jacket in Erroz’s case or in a tropical total look as model Gerard Sabé in ES Collection fashion show. You choose.
