Closing day of 080 Barcelona Fashion

During the closing day of the event, designers Juanma Byelcuco and Pablo Erroz, and the firms BCN Brand and Torras presented their collections.

Scalpers. Spring-Summer 2015

Juanma Byelcuco presented ‘Dicotomia’ (Dichotomy), a collection based in the concepts of light and shadows which does not take a middle course. The garments show a dichotomy through geometric and pure lines intertwined with organic and sensitive constructions. The two sides of the collection are complementary and they show balance between volume and simplicity. Regarding the colours, the purity of white is combined with the warmth of toasted yellows, Klein blue and darker shades, creating optical illusions through patterns.

Also, young designer Pablo Erroz presented ‘#7’, his unisex collection for next spring/summer. Erroz got inspired by the environment to create a range in high-tech materials, technologic finishes and vmultiple textures and patterns. The garments are characterised by their neat and structured cuts, in maxi and oversized pieces, and by the diversity of accessories that add to powerful total-looks.

Under the title ‘Barcelona’, BCN Brand presented their collection for next spring/summer, inspired by the Art Nouveau, especially its architecture and painting, with bright garments in a mix of colours.

For their part, the firm Torras presented ‘Avant-garde’. Inspired by artist as Picasso, Warhol or Klimt, the brand presented a collection in a relaxed colour palette, in which garments become a canvas that reflects light and colour through flowery and cashmere prints in orange, red and navy blue. These pieces are matched to leather and linen garments, creating geometric and lineal shapes in constant motion. Stylist Juanma Byelcuco collaborated with Torras’ collection.

The deluxe epilogue of the show was offered by the brand Scalpers with the collaboration of Italian Company. The firm, on a catwalk for the first time, presented a menswear collection for spring/summer in which multiple styles are mixed: dandy style, safari traveller and gentlemen’s sport. The first line is based in tailoring, with suits in classic tonalities with a trendy touch. The second line is inspired by the world of safaris, in which outwear is combined with military-style garments in linen and denim fabrics. The third line takes the cosmopolitan style to a relaxed summery atmosphere. All the garments showcase the distinctive logo of the brand.
