Gerard Sabé is one of the usual models of the 080 Barcelona Fashion. He made his debut in February 2015 and since then hasn’t missed any edition, showing his great versatility wearing from the emerging design pieces of the awarded brand Mans Concept Menswear to the sporty looks of Punto Blanco. Born in Barcelona in 1996, this young model has a special bond with his hometown catwalk, as it was the first one to count with him in a national level.

Gerard Sabé repeats the same story as many other Spanish male models before him, like Andrés Velencoso, who have succeeded beyond our borders first to afterwards conquer the national fashion scene. Gerard Sabé started his career in Milan. It was there were he walked a catwalk for the first time; and he did it for the iconic master designers Giorgio Armani and the spring-summer 2016 collection of its second line Emporio Armani. His sharp face, latino features and powerful look seduced Milan Fashion Week and he ended up walking also for other luxury menswear brands such as Etro and Salvatore Ferragamo.

Sabé, who was discovered by an agent in his gym, had never imagined working as a model beforehand. Maybe that’s why he combines his catwalk jobs and photoshoots with his biomedicine studies, besides enjoying extreme sports, one of his main passions. Another is the Swedish born and Barcelona based influencer Emitaz, his partner, with whom he shares travels and a true passion for fashion, like he likes to share in his Instagram account. The influencer is another regular face at the 080, but we usually see her in the front row. Probably we will see them both again in the upcoming 23rd edition, which will take place from February 4th to the 7th at the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site.
