Juan Betancourt is not a newcomer in the world of fashion. Since 2009 and with only 19 years old, this Cuban born model is considered one of the “new faces” to take into account in men’s fashion but without a doubt this 2015 has been his best year on the Catalan catwalk. Betancourt was one of the star-names of the 080 Barcelona Fashion’s 15th edition and led his face and body to brands so different as Custo Barcelona and Punto Blanco.

As the best top models’ legends, Betancourt was scouted while strolling in La Havana by a manager of Elite Barcelona’s agency. He then moved to Spain and after a couple of difficult years due to residence permits, he started a successful career combining catwalk jobs with advertisement and shootings. He has worked with Giorgio Armani and Antonio Miró but was Tom Ford who trusted him enough to make him the image of his first beauty line for men. A key work that helped in his international career and that resulted in him moving from Spain to New York. In the Big Apple he hasn’t stopped working, and sharing it all through social media, and it’s crystal clear: 2015 is Betancourt’s best year... so far.
