After four day of shows, and a complete parallel activities programme, the 080 Barcelona Fashion closed yesterday its 23rd edition, after setting the dates for the upcoming summer 2019 edition. The 24rd 080 Barcelona Fashion catwalk will take place on June 25 to 28 at the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site, the usual setting of this fashion event that makes it even more appealing thanks to its architectonic magnificence.

Regarding the numbers of the already finished 23rd edition, the 080 has gathered near 30,000 attendees, between media, bloggers, guests to the shows, buyers and general public. A total of 1,500 professionals from 700 different media have covered the event, between journalists, bloggers and digital influencers.
From the total of media professionals, 90 were from international publications such as “Vogue”, “Esquire”, “Cosmopolitan”, “Schön”, “Notion” and “Drapers”, in addition to the presence of the acclaimed international platform Fashion Network. Moreover, 527 were from Catalan or national media, 300 bloggers or from digital media, 280 were digital influencers and 230 graphic media.
As for the 080 website, during the Barcelona Fashion Week (from February 4 to 7), it has registered 18,755 unique visitors, which is an increase of 23.7% compared to last edition, and over 305,000 visits. Furthermore, it has received 72.3% visits from new users while 27.7% had visited the site already. Last but not least, the majority were visits of national and Spanish origin, followed by the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, China and Argentina.
Among the parallel activities of this winter edition, the 080 Fashion Showroom stands out, closing with near 300 trade interactions between the exhibitors and the buyers. According to the interim balance by Modacc cluster, twelve commercial agreeements have been closed, which may represent around 2 million euro of turnover, a volume similar to previous editions and that can increase in the upcoming weeks.
As for the participant brands, their representatives say to be “very satisfied” of the contacts established and the best reviews come from brands such as Nou Moscada, Teoh&Lea, Núria Serra and Munich. Moreover, 80% of the exhibitors want to repeat their presence in this trade show. In regards to the buyers, they have also reviewed their experience very positively necause it has allowed them to enjoy fashion from different perspectives, explore new business opportunities and they have also highlighted the outstanding setting of the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site.
Regarding today’s programme, the OFF 080 Barcelona Fashion has presented the Fundación Ared charity fashion show at the same venue. On occasion of its 25th anniversary, this institution chaired by model Judit Mascó has presented on the runway a collection of workwear and uniforms made by a team of women at risk of social exclusion. It’s been a charity act that, besides Mascó, has gathered other well-known Catalan models like Martina Klein, Veronica Blume and Vanessa Lorenzo.
It has been the non-official closure of th 23rd edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashion, which has counted with 5 sponsors and different collaborators. As sponsors, have participated SEAT; Redken, NYX Professional Makeup, Mistinguett and La Roca Village; while as collaborators we find Be Plus, Nestlé-Les Recettes d’Atelier,  Raffel Pagès, Rowenta, Thuya, Habitat, Vibia and l’Hotel Barcelona Edition.
