Txell Miras, winner of the Best 080 Barcelona Fashion Collection Award in February 2016, presents within the 21st edition of the Catalan catwalk “Witches’ Sabbath”, her proposal of womenswear for autumn-winter 2018-19. The Catalan designer founds her inspiration in the Holy Inquisition and its witch hunts in a collection defined by the contrast between the while that represents the sacred law and dark colors like black and grey that show fear and uncertainty.

This feelings also inspire illustrations full of sadness and the use of scarves and shawls that evoque blankets and retreat. Txell Mira’s technique is mostly shown in the layering looks and the double pieces.
