Catalan designer Txell Miras, a current name of the 080 Barcelona Fashion catwalk –where she won the 080 National Award to the Best Collection in 2016-, presents at the Sant Pau Modernist Enclosure “Clinic”, her proposal of womenswear for spring-summer 2019. Precisely this location is the starting point of the collection but not in its current magnificent state but in its origins, when it was a hospital, a space where life meets death, as shown on the runway but ghosts that walked alongside the models.

Txell Miras shows this duality in a collection where colors mean different concepts: white stands for the nurses and doctors, red represents the suffering of the sick, green means hope while black is death. The silhouettes are flimsy and long and, among the fabrics, cotton stands out as a symbol of purity.
