Catalan fashion designer Txell Miras presents “Posthuman” for spring-summer 2020. It’s a collection inspired by transhumanism, a concept born from science-fiction field, which predicts that technology and human intelligence will merge. On the 080 catwalk, we see futuristic looks, with designs made in technical fabrics and, even, plastic.

However, Txell Miras doesn’t forget traditional fabrics like denim, cotton, ottoman and embroideries, playing with the duality of craftsmanship and technology. She doesn’t forget either about her characteristic illustrations with characters printed on t-shirts, which add a human touch to an otherwise technological collection.
