The prestigious worldwide model agency Elite Model Management has launched a new edition of the annual Elite Model Look contest, in which the faces for the international fashion events of 2013 are to be chosen. Barcelona is the first of a total of five Spanish cities in which the castings will take place. Alicante (4th of May), A Coruña (11th of May), Málaga (18th of May) and Madrid (25th of May) complete the list.


The shopping centre Diagonal Mar has hosted the casting, in which five women and four men have been chosen to assist the semi-final that will take place in June in Madrid, where they will compete with the candidates selected in the other castings.


Gael Marie, the agency's director, together with the stylist and TRESemmé's ambassador Antony Llobet, the designer Juan Pedro López, the director of Motif Management Sagri Armas, and Edgar Pozo, agent of the Elite/Men division, constitute the jury, that has chosen the semi-finalists among 100 applicants for a professional modelling career.


The contest is open to women between the ages of 14 and 22 with a minnimum height of 1.72m, and men between the ages of 16 and 28 with a minnimum height of 1.83m. Registrations for the contest can be made through the Elite Model Look web page and the Facebook page.
